Teen chucky x reader headcannons for the story i’m writing pleased <3

I don't focus too heavily on his teenage years, but I suppose there are some stuff. Also, I dunno if you have, but check out @fanficwriter284, they are super creative with his childhood!

Now, I dunno enough about writing x reader stuff, as it really depends on what kind of personality you wanna give the reader, but here is some stuff that I think would match Chucky's persona as a teenager.

Right, so Chucky defo comes across as very aggressive in his adulthood, but during his teenage years, I actually view him as calmer, more calculative and manipulative instead of jumping head on first into danger.

He'd plan things through, as teenagers aren't as pshysically capable as say, an adult. If he wants to get back at someone for some shit they did, he'd go create a specific, thourough plan before doing it.

I've always thought of him as creative and intelligent. He does good in school, gets good grades, BUT he isn't very interested in making friends, and really doesn’t want to, either. As he is stated to be a psychopath, he would also be charismatic and a good liar, getting away with stuff by shifting the blame on someone else, or coming up with some pretty good excuses to explain why he did something. He isn't remorseful or regretful of his actions at all, not unless they directly affect him.

He doesn't experience love the normal, healthy way, but he does care to some extent, and might even show deep infatuation. He could find your reader very intriguing and therefore want to be with them. To write this you could give the reader some cool, interesting persona to match the storyline :>

I always imagined Charles Lee Ray and Eddie Caputo were friends since childhood, so consider giving him a best friend (or don't lol, it's totes up to you!)

chucky, your doll buddy, is on a rampage, and you're the main target.

he's slashing through the air, laughing maniacally, and you're running for your life.

just as chucky's about to deliver the final stab, you jolt awake with a scream.

you look to your side and chucky's on your bed, looking at you like you're crazy or something

"fuck happened?"

however, the concern in his eyes betrays the gruff exterior.

you're too scared to form proper sentences, so you just stare at him like a deer caught in headlights.

what if he gets angry? what if he really does want to harm you?

chucky, surprisingly, seems genuinely concerned.

"well? come on."

after a deep breath, you spill the details of your nightmare, careful not to accuse him directly.

chucky's eyes widen, and for a moment, he looks almost sympathetic.

"sheesh. you really dreamt that stuff?"

as you nod, he lets out a sigh, moving over and sitting down right beside you.

"listen, i ain't gonna hurt you, ever. i'm not wasting my time offing my favorite kid."

you can't help but crack a tiny smile.

maybe having a killer doll as a roommate isn't all bad.

chucky pats your head in a bizarrely comforting way.

"now get some shut-eye, and remember, i got your back."

Cree’s most valued quality is her athletic prowess, so the second she becomes caramelized i imagine she becomes a teen girl version of Numbuh 13 lol. her caramel is the kind of spicy that leaves your nose burning. for Maurice, i think he would lose his determination, becoming someone lazy and apathetic. his caramel is very classical, the kind of flavor you can always rely on. Chad is a bit egotistical, and he truly does think he’s The Best, so maybe he would lose his self confidence? his caramel is buttery but delicate. Stacey’s whole world revolves around her social status, so i think she would lose her “popularity,” becoming some kind of outcast. as you chew her caramel, you can’t quite pin down it’s taste. it’s like it changes every bite. for the twins, Justin loses his free spirit, and Chuckie loses his warmth. caramelized Justin refuses to do anything he isn’t explicitly told, and Chuckie is cut-throat and cruel. Justin’s caramel is smokey and rich. Chuckie’s sweet caramel melts in your mouth.

Ian and Mickey have lived on the Ninth their whole lives, the only remaining children of a dying House. When the Emperor calls for necromancers to travel to the First House and attempt to ascend to the status of Lyctor, Mickey answers the call. But he needs a cavalier, and that means he needs Ian. Ian finally has the chance he's always wanted to leave the Ninth behind, and all he needs to do is pretend obedience to his childhood enemy.

This was a really stupid labour of love. I know it's niche and it's going to appeal to only a few people, but I hope those few people find it and enjoy it.

For those few people, I have included some additional headcanon under the cut about how I'd cast the rest of the book of I was going to write it (which I absolutely the fuck am not).

Warning that this contains some spoilers for Gideon the Ninth, based on casting decisions... And a few for Harrow the Ninth (one will just tell you someone survives the first book... I've then called out some more significant spoilers at the end).

So when I started this I didn't think much beyond Ian is playing Gideon, Mickey is playing Harrow... But then I realized I needed more characters and it was also just fun to figure out how the rest of Shameless would fit in.

The Fourth House teens came to me before I even cast Palamedes and Camilla... Obviously it's Carl and Debbie. I don't know which is the necromancer and which the cavalier... I could go either way, depending on whether I valued accuracy or comedy value more... I think I lean towards Debbie-necro/Carl-cav because I don't really see Debbie obsessing over Ian's biceps.

I initially had Kev and Vee as the Fifth, on account of them being the kind grown ups. But then I was thinking about the Third, and the only Shameless character who comes even CLOSE to Ianthe's vibe is Svetlana. So... Yeah. That also would create the most plausible dynamic for Harrow the Ninth (or rather Mickey the Ninth). So then I put Kev and Vee into the Third as their thrupple... And it kind of works but mostly doesn't... But I went with it anyway. So when Ian refers to punching the Third cav, that means Kev. Because I couldn't imagine him punching Vee, even off-screen. Obviously this does mean the crushing on Corona thing does not work at all... But I didn't write it and I'm not going to do it doesn't matter (I'm not!! I know it sounds like I'm protesting too much but I'm really not).

So then obviously Fiona had to be the Fifth... And I considered Sean as her cav, but ultimately it came back to JimmySteve, because I think he had a better relationship with the kids, especially my aforementioned shitty Fourth teens Carl and Debbie.

For the Sixth, Palamedes was always going to be Lip... Both for smarts and for his friendship with Ian, and somewhat antagonistic relationship with Mickey. I went back and forth on Camilla... But ultimately friendship with Ian meant it had to be Mandy, because Ian didn't like Karen much and never really interacted with Amanda, who was my other option for matched smarts... I hadn't met Tami when I started this, but I don't think my opinion has changed. I don't think Tami could really get the Sixth's vibes, and this is a youngish Lip. Plus who doesn't want to see Mandy with a sword?!

Seventh I kind of went with what I'd done for I Want The Gun Back, Harrow... So Kash and Linda. But honestly i kind of hate it, both because it's kind of spoilers for anyone who knows shameless and because it wouldn't work on any level for the Harrow the Ninth... Ahem... Version of events. But I'm never writing that, so there we go.

I couldn't decide on who to cast as the Eighth for ages, but eventually I decided that Sammi and Chuckie would work best... Slightly parasitic familial relationship? Check. Antagonism with Ian and Mickey? Check. Smart but superior and arrogant with it? Well, kinda. But I put the scene where the Eighth gives Gideon tea side by side with the scene where Sammi bandages Ian's burn and I couldn't think of a better fit.

I still haven't been able to think of a good fit for the second, short of just jamming random characters in. I figure Caleb has the most Judith "normal person reacts normally and calls the authorities" vibes. But I didn't like that, and who would play Marta? Trevor?!

Kermit is Teacher and I will not be accepting questions at this time.

On the Ninth, I decided that Terry couldn't be Priamhark, because there is no version of Ian and Mickey that aren't on each other in seconds if Terry wasn't around. So Terry is Crux. And homophobia doesn't exist in TLT, so his grounds for keeping them apart stem more from a visceral dislike of Ian and the fact that he's an indentured servant not good enough for the Ninth (and a little bit the anti-necro/cav relationship stuff that stands in for homophobia in the books)... I think Crux is actually probably less unpleasant than Terry, but the end of Nona would still work.

Aiglemene was a problem for me, because the only obvious person I could think of was Sheila... I am still not happy with this because Sheila is too nice for Aiglemene. The other thought was Peggy Gallagher, who was almost too mean. But would totally be able to teach Ian the blade. No actually, I think Grammy would be a good Aiglemene. I just decided that while writing it. There you go.

I didn't really cast anyone who appears in Harrow the Ninth... I sort of go back and forth, but I did have thoughts about Jod and Wake. (The next bit contains MASSIVE HTN spoilers so be warned).

So logically Clayton would be Jod, but he appears in one total episode and... No. Frank is Jod. Obviously. Which makes Monica Wake, which I think would be an interesting dynamic... I did consider gender swapping (Monica as Jod) but this doesn't work on many many levels... It still doesn't, because I have no idea who would be Alecto, particularly from Mickey's response to them... That doesn't really work for anyone. So it's a good job I'm Not Writing It.

In my head Mercymorn and Augustine are just... The original. They don't get replaced. They just have to deal with Mickey and Svetlana instead of Harrow and Ianthe. And both Mickey and Svet would instantly pick up Augustine's smoking habit even though Mickey would hate him with the passion of a thousand suns.

About my OC Chiffany baby!

Her name is Tara, but Chucky calls her "Bunny" because she's loved bunnies since she was 2 or 3. 🥹

Her middle name is Pamela, which is my headcanon name for Tiffany's mother. Tara Pamela Ray.

She is a Cinnamon Roll™️ type, absolutely NOTHING like her parents!

She became Christian in her late-ish teens sort of out of rebellion against her parents (she's not preachy or bigoted about it, though), but also because she hopes it'll, like... keep the evil out of her, I guess?

During BoC, she comes home from staying at a friend's overnight to find that her father is back... as a doll. When she walks in, he realizes it's her, and addresses her as "Bunny!" from the crib he's locked in, terrifying the poor girl. She leaves again to go back to her friend's later that day, not returning until the next day when her parents have already left with Jesse & Jade. Somehow, she meets up with David, and ends up on the rest of the road trip with them.

After the events of BoC (when she was 14), she would've lived with Jesse and Jade, since I'm pretty sure that Jesse was at least 18 and thus, could be her legal guardian.

Between 2004 and 2009, Tiffany (as Jennifer) is able to find her, and they reunite. She is, of course, appalled that her mother stole someone else's life, but she loves her baby siblings.

She was such a late 90's/early 2000's teen girl. She totally loved Britney and 'NSYNC and BSB because I SAID SO. (Let's... ignore what happened in Seed. 😒)

I'm making a KND discussion of the members of Sector Z positions in the KND outside their sectors. (New Headcanon)

Okay, I always like the headcanon that Chad knew Sector Z and used to train them, specifically with Lenny. Therefore, I decided to expand the idea by thinking that every relevant former KND Operatives in the Teen Ninjas squad or current TND operatives except Maurice and Rachel (post-finale) learned most of their combat and leadership skills from Sector Z.

For example

Bruce was Numbuh 100/The Steve Mentor

David was Chuckie's Mentor

Alessandra was Cree's/Numbuh 11 Mentor

Lenny was Chad's/Numbuh 274 Mentor

Constance was The Teenage Spy Mentor

Inadvertently, this idea implies that Alessandra and Lenny were the KND's most elite and strongest operatives in combat, considering the status of Cree and Chad being called the KND's best and strongest operatives of their time.

It could explain why only Alessandra and Lenny are militaristic armor by design than the other members of their sector because they were higher in command in the KND organization like Numbuh 35, 36A & 36B, 44A & 44B, 65.3, 86, 100, 206, 274, 362. Hence, their similar clothing styles of a metallic pot or samurai helmet of sorts (indicating their status of higher command) and black-to-brown combat shoes/boots.

Alessandra and Lenny were probably High Ranking Drill Sergeants for the KND and had their departments. Therefore, this means that Alessandra and Lenny were part of the old KND Global Command when they were outside of their sector or missions.

As for the other members of Sector Z, I think they were some variation of high-command KND operatives (a different department of KND global command operatives but still associated with them) considering how similar their clothing is to each other. If this is the case for the members of Sector Z, this could explain their legendary status among the Kids Next Door if they often or are associated with KND Global Command.

Post Edit 6/25/23:

I believe that Alessandra & Bruce are KND Global Officers Now. The indication for proofing this is that only global command officers wear padded circles with outfits.

I believe that Bruce is the leader/head of his department, considering that David & Constance also wear similar clothing to him. However, they lack the signature padded circles may indicate that they are under his leadership.

As for Alessandra, she's probably from a different department of global command based on her outfit being different from Bruce's.

Headcanon: Tiffany would never kill a child or teen. Unlike Chucky, she has it in her to separate an adult from a child. As a result, she would only kill people who are 18 or older

I have mixed opinions on this.

Whilst I agree that she would never directly kill a child, she is also OK with leaving kids to die. She willingly mailed Chucky to Alice once she had gone to live with her grandmother, allowing Chucky to posses her and then acted as Alice's guardian. All of which ultimately lead to her death.

Not to mention, Tiffany planting that bomb in season 1 and leaving 14 year old Devon tied up in the house.
